1. Introduction

Welcome to Trekker Voyages. By accessing or using our website, services, or renting a campervan from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Definitions

​

• "Company," "we," "us," "our" refers to Trekker Voyages.

• "Customer," "you," "your" refers to the person or persons using our services or renting a campervan.

• "Campervan" refers to the vehicles rented out by Trekker Voyages.

• "Rental Agreement" refers to the contract between the customer and Trekker Voyages for the rental of a campervan.

3. Eligibility

​

To rent a campervan from Trekker Voyages, you must:

• Be at least 25 years of age.

• Hold a valid driver’s license with a minimum of two years of driving experience.

• Provide proof of identity and a valid payment method.

4. Booking and Payment

​

• Deposit: A deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid prior to collection of the campervan.

• Payment Methods: We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments must be made in GBP (£).

• Pricing: All prices are inclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for extras such as bike racks, child seats, or GPS.

5. Rental Period

​

• Minimum Rental Period: The minimum rental period is 2 days.

• Collection and Return: The campervan must be collected and returned to our designated location. Late returns may incur additional charges.

• Extensions: Rental extensions may be requested, subject to availability. Additional charges will apply.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

​

• Cancellations: See rental policy upon booking.

• Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation date.

7. Insurance and Liability

​

• Comprehensive Insurance: All campervans are covered by comprehensive insurance, which includes coverage for accidents, theft, and damage. A standard excess applies.

• Excess Reduction: Optional excess reduction insurance is available for purchase.

• Customer Liability: You are responsible for any damage to the campervan, loss of equipment, or any fines incurred during the rental period. You agree to pay the full cost of repairs or replacement if the damage exceeds the insurance coverage.

• Roadside Assistance: 24/7 roadside assistance is included with your rental.

8. Use of the Campervan

​

• Authorised Drivers: Only the named drivers on the Rental Agreement are permitted to drive the campervan.

• Prohibited Uses: The campervan must not be used for illegal purposes, off-road driving, or to transport more passengers than it is designed to carry. Pets are allowed in the campervans.

• Maintenance: You must take reasonable care of the campervan, ensuring it is returned in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental period, excluding normal wear and tear.

9. Off-Grid Capabilities

​

Our campervans are designed for off-grid use for up to one week, depending on battery usage. It is your responsibility to manage power consumption during your trip. Trekker Voyages is not liable for any issues arising from power depletion or misuse of the campervan’s systems.

10. European Travel

​

If you intend to take the campervan outside the UK, you must inform us at the time of booking. Additional insurance and documentation may be required for European travel. You are responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations while abroad.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

​

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and store your data.

12. Amendments to the Terms

​

Trekker Voyages reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services will signify your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
